for the millionth time this week, i cabbed. :( i think i'm getting more impatient by the day plus i haven't deposited the money for my hostel fees which i'm gonna pay by NETS instead... so maybe i feel rich. sadly, i only feel rich. hahahah

anyhow, the most awaited photo with shuhui dahling who recently cut her hair. not just any normal haircut i tell you, it's a very shocking haircut!

what actually happened is that i dumbly lost my locker key last night! and mind you, EVERYTHING is in that locker. my wallet, my handphone and my transponder! :(( i quickly checked with aladin(the boss) and he said the houskeeping people won't be in until MONDAAAAAAAY!!!! i could have just jumped off a bridge at that very moment. hahahah
SO, i retreated back to the locker area where azmi was patiently waiting for me.. then desperately tried to pick the the lock, and no, i did not succeed. :(( i was randomly poking here and there using a hairpin. yeah, probably too much movies.

we had to put those newspaper on the floor first before we could start. then the team leader asked for some people to draw the lighter yellow stars. do i hear STARS? hahaha. so i volunteered. :D hehe

the rest did the whitewash cos the other side's not done yet. i felt abit light-headed and the stars didn't help. :( but thankfully, the whitewash people ran out of paint so they all helped in the stencil painting.






yeah, i ran out of poses. hahhaah

anyway! we may look clean and smiley but these photos are not reflective at all cos they were taken when we just started. hahaha

in the afternoon, almost everyone was doing whitewash and it got really really hot. oh my goodness gracious. my sweat was dripping from my forehead and the paint smell got too strong and my body was complaining. :( but the kids there are vellyvelly cute so they kinda get you going. (: a girl called jasmine helped me and paul too. ((: i felt very happy after seeing their thankful faces(i mean, they had this thank-you-face), and especially upon hearing this little kid who said
'thank you for painting our walls, KAK' (:

to ignore the tiredness, half the time, paul and i laughed amongst ourselves and i swear we looked like mad people. cos we were like gasping for air that kind of laughter. hahaha and of course, only the two of us could understand what we were laughing about.

there's this guy in friendster who sent me a message saying how he's a filipino studying in singapore too and wanted to make friends. fine, no problems with that. muriel's a friendly girl. LOL

the small talk goes on the usual way until the point he said that maybe it was better if i gave him my number and we sms instead, so he didn't have to sneak into friendster while at work. i replied saying 'oh i'm sorry, i keep my number to relatives and my circle of friends'. which in layman terms meant NO, i don't want to give it to you. but i was trying to be NICE to tell him subtly.
