i've still got the christmas spirit! 
and emo mode. lol.
of course she came after a million minutes but i just hate waiting, especially when i'm by myself! :( anyhoooze, we dropped by that shop and i got 2 tanktops! :D one green, one reddish-pink. so christmas-y right? too bad it's over! i could have had 2 costumes that night! lol. anyway, we headed over to the salon cos she had to do smth. haha
so while 'waiting' for her i had some hair treatment too. :) my hair's super dry. ugh!
we separated after that cos she had a date and i had to meet up with my friends! :) we're finalising our christmas party plans! :))) i'm sooo excited. hahaha. oh. a friend's dad passed away so we went to visit before goin for dinner.
we took a tricycle, but this one's without a roof. lol. so just think of it as free make-over! powdered and gelled hair in an instant! hahahaha windylicious(so much so joanne wanted to sleep!)! :P 
we decided to go to Joke Hall cos an ex-classmate in high school performs there! :) he/she's a stand-up comedian! hahaha and he's really funny(but VERY dirty!).

THEN she came back to tell us that their drinks don't come in pitchers and we had to order again, this time-individually! hahahah. then she said she was sorry cos she's just new. -.- but she was nice la. just didn't see the dancing part coming. hahahah
and can you believe they were with their irresponsible parents? c'mon! who would be so smart to bring little kids in such a place? yes, they saw the 'dancing' too! whatever 
that little boy can sing. but he's very arrogant. HAHAHA. the girl in green can't sing for nuts! but she looked confident. lol. anyone can come up and sing on stage. but no worries i didn't. lol. no one in our group did. it's just too... weird. but anyway! at 1130 we had to leave! last few photos!

after lunch we went to a cafe(think, wi-fi!) nearby cos the rest(NUS peeps) wanted to check their results. -.- 
at first i didn't care cos i thought it was gonna come out at 9pm! so when aldwyn asked me to just check for the sake of checking, my grades were actually already out!!!! O.O and that was the end of my day, if you know what i mean. HAH. actually judging from the number of pictures i've been taking lately, i'm not exactly been in a very good mood. but what the heck.

nope. not an emo post. :) it's a happy post! :D christian- a cousin of mine who left for Manila when i was 13- is in town! :) the last time i saw him was 2001(according to him! hahah) but i think it was way loooonger.. so i was reaaaaly really glad to see him again. look how much he's grown! O.O
dammit! i wonder why i never got that genes! :( anyway, we used to do the fireman slide on this very same pole when we were still young but now he can reach the top of it without any effort! >: pffft. anyways, the party

manila boy was really disappointed at the 'night life' in davao. HAHAHA. but it was partly cos it was christmas which is why most of the shops/clubs/bars are closed! 
we drank ice blended coffees first then we went to watch a lame filipino movie. hahaha
i'm not really into filipino movies cos the plots are predictable and all but i have to admit they make me laugh. :D after that it was nearing 12 so it was time to head out to the only bar/club villy thought MIGHT be open. but to our dismay, it was a ghost town too. so we ended up eating barbeque! :S 
AND they managed to make me drink 1 1/2 bottles of beer! i think i've never dranked so much my whole life. hahaha. when i started itching we decided to go home. it was almost 3 afterall!

only when i reached home did i realise how red i was! O.o (the red spot's not counted! that's while getting burnt during the blackout! :( when i lit a matchstick, some sparks and candle wax(God knows) came flying out of nowhere. then i realised it burnt! :(( atleast it's pretty tiny!)

lit a small candle and used my sister's stained glass candle holder. :) pretty right? i got it for her during the school yunnan trip in 2005. :D i tried to distract myself by taking photos and well, they're pretty christmas-y too anyway. :)
and not to mention the persistence of vanity in the dark. HAHAHA
it was so dark that without the candle you'd be confused if your eyes were open or closed! seeeeeriously!

hopefully wei hoong gets to read this post cos that time in school we had some international awareness thing for civics and they had to do philippines. then me and pigrass mia suggested they display a lechon(roasted pig) cos its pretty much a filipino thing to have in almost all occassion- not the real one of course. they somehow ended up with a pig in a sitting-up position(like a teddy bear) HOLDING an apple. hahahahahahahah. that gave us painful jaws from all the laughing for some time by the way. anyway this is how it actually looks like. :) and the apple is bitten by the pig and is thus at the mouth. :)
after learning how to shoot(no worries, just pellet guns- fun fun fun!) and a little bit more about bananas, we headed back. :p i slept on the way back cos i slept at 430 am then we had to wake up by 7am! O.o so i was seeing birds and stars half the time. hahahaha talk about sleep deprivation. we then passed on their invitation to hang out somewhere cos we HAD to put up our christmas decorations. hahaha. yes, it's the 21st of december then we put them up. :O if my mom was around it'll probably up latest by end of november. :x we decided to keep it at a minimum too! :D 
simplicity is beauty eh? (and maybe because laziness is our virtue! hahahaha. :p) and to include the bananas in the spirit of christmas! HAHAHAHA

the guy on the right is Rainier, my sister's uni friend who's celebrating his birthday too! :D he has been assigned to the region by his company and so he's sort of away from home for his birthday, christmas and new year! i know exactly how you feel man. 
i sneaked out to buy birthday cakes while they drank happily!
hahaha but there wasn't any cake-selling-shops nearby so i cabbed to yellow hauz(hahas) to buy a caramel cheese cake and strawberry chocolate chip fudge. :D
of course they weren't too surprised cos my disappearance was sort of obvious. hahaha. oh well. :p blowing the candles and cutting the mini-cakes segment of the night! :D

i just overheard in the news that they have this pretty bear-christmas tree. so i managed to drag them along to take photos. :)three little pigs- philippine version. i'm always part of a 3-little-pigs-trio wherever i go! hahaha WHY IS THAT? and no, i don't need an answer. ;) hahaha
the bear tree wasn't so impressive actually cos it was pretty tiny. :/ so we moved on to the gingerbread house ! :D

filipino bbq food is so much more different than other bbqs (maybe pretty similar to indonesian bbq) cos it's mostly sweet and there's a huuuuge variety of yummy stuff, as you can see. hahaha 
after a year of singapore bbq(chicken wings, sausages, crab sticks, sting ray, satay, otah and nuggets HAHAHA), bbq is at the top of the must-eat when i'm at home. hahas. though the last two items aren't exactly bbq. but still somewhere at the must-eat list; it's a pretty long list, as you would have guessed.
heh. :p so i guess those who are wondering(and shocked) how and why i come back with so much more of me everytime i come back from home i guess your on the initial stages of enlightenment. ;) meet the sister! :D <3

i asked the boyfriend to help me take a photo with this viva piñata menu thingy that was really nice and colouful and he did take several times but i looked fat(well. i am but atleast in pictures you can manipulate the truth! :D ahahaha) so i asked him to take again! (and again and again and again....) and some evil comment was the root cause of this sad face. 
tsk. i think it's one of the best sad faces i have so far! hahaha. it even looks like i'm about to cry! :p hahas. but at the same time i'm like about to laugh. sheesh 
i had some bbq chicken with mashed potatoes and veggies
while the boyfriend had beef rice. hahas. 
we were not supposed to order what we always do. hahs. and well, that was accomplished. :p and on top of all that a pepperoni pizza! :D i've never really had pizza in swensens but it was yummy! :D
fortunately and unfortunately, we didn't have enough compartments to accomodate a banana crumble, though i really wanted one. :( they should have it in smaller servings. :( but i was FULL like nobody's business. but budget airline's don't provide food so it was like saving for the coming rainy day. :D 
bought pineapple tarts for pigrass and my family(coincidentally, Roman bought the same one for his family too!). :D then beibee and i just sat near the mrt station since it was already 11 and his last train's 11:18. sigh. if only it wasn't delayed then he would have had the car and he could have stayed longer. :(

Enchanted is really really reaally weally nice! (: mah first time! :P not much diff actually. just can't eat inside :( plus the seats are slightly different and its pretty small and they have pretty little yellow stars on the wall.
